About Us

The Association of Peaceful Peer Psychologists – 3P INKINGI is based in Bujumbura Mairie (Rohero, Avenue Bweru, No29) and currently operates in the provinces of Cibitoke, Bubanza, and Rumonge through its voluntary focal points.

3P INKINGI is committed to promoting mental health awareness and psychosocial support across Burundian society, by leveraging local volunteers, psychologists, and community support networks to assist individuals facing psychological challenges.

Specific Objectives

Our goals are directed toward improving mental health, promoting inclusive education, and empowering communities throughout Burundi.

  • Support and promote education and mental health in Burundi through child mentorship and protection of their rights and holistic well-being.
  • Provide support to individuals and families experiencing psychological distress.
  • Build community capacity for sustainable development.
  • Strengthen families for empowerment and economic resilience.
  • Create spaces for dialogue, social cohesion, and youth innovation.
  • Advocate and mobilize necessary resources for education and psychosocial support services.
  • Encourage initiatives from highly marginalized groups, including persons with disabilities, albinos, and Batwa communities.
  • Advocate to the government and donors for community-based responses, especially targeting women and children.
  • Promote the regulation of the psychosocial and mental health care professions.
